Default type 2 question problems associated with diabetes

does anyone know of any problems associated with diabetes that would cause night sweats and fevers, extreme tiredness and weakness? im going to my doctor today and i want to discuss every possible solution for this. i have been a lab rat for 6 months. ive been sick for that long and im tired of it.

i have type 2 diabetes and thats the only things i take meds for. metformin 2 times a day. i stopped depo shots back in feb. i have a doctors appointment today and i want to see what else i can do that im overlooking to start to feel better. its affecting my job and my life. im in bed alot. i have been tested for so many things. i am also seeing an oncologist. she is testing me for cancer and keeps scaring the crap out of me. the only thing they can find in my blood work is a high white blood cell count. its has been this way for 2 years apparently and they cant figure out why. they have even went as far as doing a biopsy on me. oww.. but thanks god the results came back good for that.

any ideas or suggestions?
i am not having problems with the diabetes which is the wierd part. i keep my blood sugar under 120 for the most part. at night its actually going lower 60-70. so i dont know if it would have anything to do with the diabetes.

High blood sugar and low blood sugar.
Avoid sugar and high amounts of carbohydrates. Eat balanced meals with whole grains at regular times. Losing weight helps control diabetes.

I think you need some other testing done. It could be lots of things that are wrong. If you eat a small snack before bed time it will keep you from having low blood sugars during the night. Just something like a few graham crackers with a small amount of peanut butter or some kind of low carb snack will do. Sign up for some diabetes educational classes. You will be surprised at what you learn and it makes controlling your disease easier.
