i have to get a meter in your opinion which is the best one to get

I use the freestyle flash. Very small, fast readings, and takes a pretty small blood sample.

Freestyle Flash aka Freestyle Mini. The backlights and alarms are awesome, and it is super small, fast, and uses a small amount of blood.
