First, you should not cut out all sugars, as your body needs them for energy. You only need to reduce sugar WHEN diagnosed by a medical doctor, NOT someone on YA!
See a doctor before you make drastic changes in your diet, please.
Diabetes doesn't usually have VISIBLE symptoms, until it reaches the last stages. I mean it's called the "silent" killer. It damages your organs, until they fail.
You have to have a blood test, to determine diabetes, and when your sugar count is over 140 on two or more consecutive readings, then it's a good sign you have diabetes.
When a diabetic has a sugar count of less than 80, they often feel faint, and can pass out. A non-diabetic usually can produce extra sugar and not get such a low sugar count, but they need a healthy diet to maintain their normals body energy levels.
Sugar in blood problems occurs for diabetics because they do not produce enough insulin to help digest and use the sugar in your blood stream.
When you eat carbohydrates, these are turned into sugar too. So, you control the amount of sugar in your blood, by reducing carbs, as well as sugar, to maintain a sugar count between 80 and 120.
This is why people with diabetes stick themselves with a needle and carry a monitor to measure the blood count several times a day.
