Default Diabetes 2: Just got the news from doc. What advice can you offer so I don't start...

...feeling sorry for myself? I know it's stupid to feel sorry for myself - it has been a bad week-end. Excuses, excuses, I know!
A special thanks IN ADVANCE to those who offer encouragement.

The best way to help with your diabetes is to eat well and exercise, exercise, Exercise!
Also, if you can, try to find a local support group. 2 friends of mine run a local support group for diabetics called "Dodging Diabetes" If you want, I could send you their emails and you could ask them for some advice. Just send me an email and I'll see what kind of info I can get from them for you.
Sorry to hear about the diabetes. You will get through this.
Take Care,
Cindy
xoxo
