Default Kidney failure and love question

A girl i have known for about a year in a new job, has been diagnosed with kidney failure, i became a donor and she had the transplant, she is fine now, but before i knew about her kidney failure i planned to ask her out, now i feel she might think she feels obliged to say yes, what would she think of me if i do? is it a good idea.

Go for it but be humble. Love can be many things.

Hang out together and see what happens, she may come on to you.

Ask her out! And tell her what you've just told us. Women like men who can communicate. Good luck!

or if you can't wait tell her she doesn't have to

wOw.. I really admire you so much for taking that strong courage to donate one of your kidneys to someone that you don't even have a blood relation to. You are awesome.

But anyway, to answer your concern... If you have already started liking her even before you donated your kidney, then you should tell her. Talk to her honestly and tell her about all about this.. the key is to be honest to her. Tell her also that she does not have to feel pressured to say "yes" to you just because you donated for her, and whatever is her decision that you would respect it -- regardless of how it would make you feel. And if things wouldn't turn out the way you want it, reassure her that whatever happens..you will still be there for her as a friend. By doing that, you will prove to her that you have good intentions.. and that will eventually make her trust you. And we never know...it might just turn out the way you planned it to be. Good luck!
